beauty should be good for youTM
“What you put on your body is as important as what you put in your body”
Not long after that, at about age 47, I went into full blown menopause.
Sadly, there is some evidence that women with higher levels of chemicals in their bloodstream experience menopause 2-4 years earlier than women with less chemical body burden.
After my early-ish menopause, I was determined to do better by myself. I’d already had most elements of health dialed in… I was eating right, exercising, drinking filtered water. But I was still using unhealthy brands of cosmetics and skincare.
That’s why when I learned about Beautycounter, I joined the mission as a consultant immediately. Beautycounter is not just a makeup and skincare company, it’s a movement to disrupt ‘business as usual’ in the personal care industry and I am 100% onboard with their better beauty mission.
The products are awesome too… as women, we care about our body, the environment and the world at large… but darn it… we still want to look good.
